Summer Stuff

Sorry it's been a while, I've been kinda busy fixing up the house, working, and being lazy.  It's hard to believe the summer is coming to a close.  Time flies so fast! 

Sophie turned 1!
Sophie had a Pink Party - she looked adorable and Kristen decorated everything so fabulously, it was so fun and festive.  We had a great time playing with Sophie, watching her eat cake and opening presents.  We also had delicious raspberry ice cream made by Judy, one of my favorites now.

Play Dates with Alia and Mel
I took Alia and Mel to "Despicable Me" which was really fun.  One of my favorite movies of the summer actually.  Unfortunately on the way out from the theaters, we had to ride the escalator down and Mel ended up falling a bit, and I caught her but we were heading down the whole time and Alia got left up at the top.  All together rather traumatic.  Poor gals, I'm worried I've put them off escalators now.  We also had a play date at Fat Cats bowling.  We didn't actually end up bowling but played in the kids jungle gym area and won tickets at the arcade games. 

Family get together
We had a get together at Auntie Lorraine's house while Becky and the girls were in town.  It was really nice to see everyone and as usual eat till we burst.  I wasn't feeling so hot that day so Nick was very nice and made vanilla ice cream, raspberry ice cream and a peach buckle!  All were delicious!  I love peach season.  We swam with the girls and Harrison for a bit.  Jamison is fearless in the water, he even jumped off the diving board (of course wearing his floaties and a life jacket thing).  Harrison didn't love the water as much this time as he did before.  I think he was having a hard time waking up from the car ride still.
