The Annual 3rd of July Celebration

This year was particularly nice because our whole family was there!  When I say whole family I mean complete family, everyone had their significant other there, even Andy with our newest family member, Blair!  We love her so much and are really excited she's joining the family!  Also included in an extended family way, Nick's parents came and enjoyed the show.

So back to the festivities, the fireworks were excellent.  My Dad said that during his conversations with Lantis Fireworks, that it's been researched that the optimum time for a firework show is about 18 minutes.  If the show is longer than that, people start to lose interest.  So our show was 18 and a half minutes.  They were really great and loud and they had, as usual, a portion that went along with the song "America" by Neil Diamond.  This song is a personal favorite.

We brought lots of Capri Suns for the kids, rice krispie treats, and cookies.  We blew blue and pink bubbles, we danced, and we ran in circles!  We even strongly asked for "One more" from James' band.  Jamison added to our "One more" chant, "Do it!"  It was an all around great time.  Thanks for the great party Dad!

This fabulous picture of me was taken by Harrison :)

(Sorry James & Sa, I didn't have a picture of you two)
