Having been on this ride last year, I made sure to wear my new Sorel snow boots and so my feet stayed toasty warm. Thank goodness! It was so cold last year. Mel enjoyed it more this year I'm sure as she's a bit older and knew we were there to take a train ride to see Santa. Harrison kept asking when we'd seen Santa and enjoyed looking out the fogged windows at the snow, houses, trees, and lights. Alia waved at Santa from the window as we passed the "North Pole".
We read the book "The Polar Express", sang Christmas songs, ate cookies & drank hot chocolate, and had an all around grand time. Santa and Mrs. Claus came through and all the kids got a bell from Santa. Thanks Mom and Dad for this wonderful family tradition. It's so nice to get to see Alia, Mele, & Harrison enjoying the magical season of Christmas it makes it a million times more fun for me and I'm sure everyone else.
