Well, it's about time

I've decided to start this up again. It's been a while. I've got some great stories and some boring ones, but stories to tell nonetheless. I guess the most recent fun story was Alia's Birthday party! I love my nieces and nephew sooo much and I love any opportunity I have to indulge and spoil them like the best Auntie ever.

So I bought party supplies, birthday hats, a tiara for my little queen, balloons, helium, a Happy Birthday Banner, candles with different colored flames, and I made . . . a Dora the Explorer cake!

Alia liked her Dora cake but Mel & Harrison LOVED the Dora cake. They couldn't hold still they were so anxious to get into it. Mel just kept saying Dora, Dora, Dora!

Goodness it did take a bit of time but that's partly because I'm a terrible perfectionist and I can't stand to leave something only half-heartedly done. We got our little baby queen a doll house that was pretty awesome. Em & Micah got her some make-up and fun girly stuff. Which she did put on me later that evening and told me I looked beautiful :)

I had a wonderful time with my fabulous family. I'm so glad we're close and that almost everyone could be there.

Your nieces and nephew are so adorable. They are so lucky to have such a creative doting aunt. The cake turned out awesome.
