Nick and I broke out our wedding cake, a lemon cake from Tulie Bakery, and it tasted as good as it did on our wedding day! We took Mr. Graeme up to my parents house so Nick and I could go to dinner at Cucina Toscana. It was delicious! I'm so happy we made it this far and I look forward to many more wonderful years ahead.
Alia had her first piano recital and did a great job. It was fun to get to see her showing off her new talent. We celebrated by going out for ice cream afterward. As you can see below, we may not have ordered enough ice cream :)
Happy 95th Birthday Grandma Watanabe! This woman is amazing. She is completely dedicated to her family. She does all she can to take care of us all by helping with dishes, ironing, doing laundry, cooking, and bringing us delicious fruits and vegetables from her garden.
Baby girl Alia, is no longer a baby. She just turned 7 and is almost as tall as me (though that isn't so hard to do). I can't believe she's getting so much older. It seems like yesterday that she was born and we were carrying her around in our arms.
Yay for Father's Day! I hope Nick had a nice Father's Day. Nick is a incredible dad and I'm so happy my little boy gets him as his father. Nick works very hard to make sure Graeme and I are well taken care of and I'm so appreciative. I'm also grateful for my own Dad who is best Dad I've ever had! He has been loving and supportive of me throughout my life no matter what. To me, he is the definition of what a Dad should be. Thanks as well to Dirk who has been a great father to Nick and father in law to me.
