4 Weeks Left!

Well, I've got 4 weeks left and this baby couldn't get here sooner.  I am SO DONE with being pregnant.  Nick and I are trying to get organized and the house cleaned up to be ready if I do have this baby a bit early.  I'm pretty sure I'm in that "nesting" phase.  I feel like there's a lot to be done but I can't do a lot in one go.  If I have my feet down for over 2 hours they look like albino elephant feet. 

Questions I often get asked:

1. Do you have any cravings?  Yes, lately I've craved dairy products.  Throughout the pregnancy I've wanted lemonade, macaroni and cheese, & root beer floats to name a few.
2. Are you excited?  I'm excited to be done being pregnant and anxious about being a good mom.
3. Is Nick excited?  Yes, he is too.
4. What do you want to name the baby?  We're leaning towards Graham or Graeme with Owen as a backup
5. Are you still working?  Yes, it's good to have some distraction from being pregnant every day.  I don't know if I'll be able to work right up till the end though, it's getting harder to get around.
6. Are you ready to have that baby arrive?  I sure hope so.  Still working on a few things but if he came early I think we'd be ok.

Questions/statements that I don't love hearing or necessarily answering:

1. Aren't you ready to have that baby yet?  Of course
2. Wow, you're getting soo big!  Yes, thank you. I feel huge.
3. Are you uncomfortable?  Wouldn't you be if you'd been gaining approximately 2 lbs a week for 8 months and can't bend over without grunting with exertion?
4. You can sure put it away now!  Yes I have a healthy appetite, I know, I can't help it.
5. My (mom, sister, sister in-law) had a really difficult delivery the baby ________ (fill in the blanks with horrible scary things that could happen during birth.)
6. It's just going to get worse till the baby gets here.  I know it's going to get worse, but I'm trying not to think about that.
7. Delivering the baby is the most excruciating painful experience you'll ever have. Thanks for sharing - I am soo grateful for modern medicine.
8. Get all the rest you can in now.  Heaven knows I would if I could but when you get out of breath rolling over in the night or you have to get up to use the bathroom every couple hours, rest is kinda hard to come by.

There are several other questions/statements I don't love but as previously mentioned I don't love hearing them or answering.

• Epidurals - haven't had one but they sound really helpful
