Watanabe Sisters

A sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves - a special kind of double. ~Toni Morrison

I am so grateful for my wonderful sister and even though I wasn't always the best older sister, I try to make up for it now.

My sister:
bakes wonderful cookies
is an amazing mother
is a good friend to everyone
has good taste in books
is patient
likes good movies
is a good example
is beautiful, skinny, and tall

and many, many, more wonderful things!

I love to see Alia and Mel interact as they grow up. Such sisters, helping, pestering, sharing, and yelling at the other to "Go away"! Mel always wants to do the same things Alia is doing but at the same time, a little mischievousness behind her eyes. Alia watches out for Mel, and also just wants to do her own thing without a follower! I both look forward to, and never want the time to come, when they're grown and great friends.

(Omi at omiphoto.com took these great pictures for us during our family photo shoot.)

Love this posting, Hailey. WEll said. (And OMi's photos are also well-said, don't you think?)

Ah shucks:). I am a lucky girl to have you as my sis, even if you always look better than me in pictures. I really am lucky though to have a sister. Thanks for the nice comments. You are abounding with good qualities. Photogenic, amazing cook, great artist, great taste, great Auntie, patient with me when I'm moody, fun, so pretty, giving, and dido on the books and movies. Much love to an excellent sister.
