The Mini Watanabe Reunion

Last weekend, my family went up to Park City for an overnight stay with the Watanabe family. My Dad has a sister and a brother. Everyone was there no one was missing. It was pretty cool. It's been a really long time since we've all been in the same place at once. It reminds me how awesome my family is and how really glad I am that we get along and like spending time together. I hope one day I'll get to have kids who will hang out with their cousins like I did and are as close to them later in life as I am.

Stuff from our stay:

The pool was waaay cold
It was waay hot
I ate 2 Pink Lemon Sour Snowie's in a row
Mel would not let go of me for 2 hours straight, thought my arms would fall off
Our family always has enough/too much food
I got my own room!
I got to stay up late catching up with my bro
Ipod's are a necessity with children around
The Watanabe, Daines, and Pace children could not be more attractive.
Kids LOVE bunk beds

Watanabe facts:

Love to sit around and talk
Are enterprising
Seem to have green thumbs (Grandma is the ultimate)
Love talking about business ideas
Have unique laughs. It doesn't get all of us, but the ones that it does, well...
Will always offer you something to eat or drink if you come over
Have a tendency to speak our minds
Are surprisingly tall (except for one lucky person per family)
Think Grandma Watanabe is completely amazing
Will always fight over the restaurant bill
